Jet Ski Guides/Cashiers/Pontoon Boat Instructors
Odyssea Watersports has been family-owned and operated for over 27 years and we are looking for qualified individuals for the 2025 season.
For this job, you must have a Maryland boater license which must be NASBLA approved (Click for boaters card). You can get this license by taking a boating safety class online or in a classroom.
The job pays hourly (Maryland minimum wage) plus tips. Having jet skiing, boating, or cashier experience is recommended.
Jetski Guide/Boat Instructor responsibilities:
- You will be rotating between jetski guide and boat instructor throughout the day
- Providing safety instructions to customers
- Helping customers with life jackets
- Assisting customers with their coolers and supplies for their boat rental
- Assisting customers on and off the boat/jetski
- Fueling jetskis/boats
- Patrolling on the water making sure customers are staying safe and within the riding area while jetskiing
- Assist with VIP Jetski storage customers
- There will be manual labor jobs as well
Cashier Responsibilities:
- Being well organized with paper and making sure all paperwork is filled out and signed properly
- Checking tests for jetski rental customers to make sure they are correct
- Answering phone calls to answer questions and take reservations.
- Using a computer and cash register to complete rentals and take payment
- Making sure displays for items we sell our organized
These are seasonal positions from May – to September. You will be working 4-5 days a week and about 10 hours a day. We can be flexible with your starting day but we would like to have employees work as far into August as possible. You will be expected to work on holidays as they are very busy.
