What’s new for the 2019 season at Odyssea Watersports?

People always ask us, “How do you stay busy during the off-season?” It might seem like we get one six-month-long break from November to April when it’s too cold out for boating and watersports, and while that does sound kind of nice, we do manage to stay busy all year long.
In the off-season, we’re constantly working on advertising, social media, coming up with fresh ideas, and brainstorming new ways that our customers can enjoy our location.
We were particularly busy during this off-season, which is why we’ve got so many new things debuting at Odyssea Watersports this summer. We’ll be officially open for the season on May 15, and we couldn’t be more excited for everything that’s in store. Here’s what you can expect at Odyssea this summer:
A Snowball Stand!
Our brand new Snowball Stand will be on the beach and ready for your ice-cold orders by Memorial Day Weekend. Cool off with a snowball before you take a ride on a jet ski, or bring a few snowballs on board your pontoon boat rental. We’ve always wanted to bring a Snowball Stand to our bayside beach, and we can’t wait to bring a smile to kids’ faces with our sour sprayed, marshmallow-topped treats this summer.

Seadoo Trixx!
It’s unlike any jet ski you’ve ever ridden. The Seadoo Trixx is the newest watersports activity in Ocean City, and the most thrilling experience you’ll have on the water. The Trixx can pull wheelies across the bay, spin 360 degrees and powerslide for distance. It’s surprisingly small and lightweight, nimble and a ton of fun — and you can trust us on that, because we’ve ridden a lot of jet skis. If you’re looking for adventure out on the water this summer, our new Seadoo Trixx is the way to go.

New Pontoon Boats!
We introduced pontoon boats to our lineup of activities four years ago, and just last week we replaced the originals with four brand new Sweetwater pontoons. Two are 13-passenger and two are 15-passenger, both 60 horsepower and equipped with bimini tops that cover about half the boat, along with bluetooth speakers so you can sync up your phone and press play on your favorite summertime playlist.

Whatever you’re looking to try for the first time at Odyssea this summer — a delicious Snowball, a ride on the Trixx, an adventure on the pontoon or all three — we know you’ll have a good time. See you soon!
